Notable Features:

  • As the cliffhanger to 'Space', Amy says "Okay kids, this is where it gets complicated" - a direct reference to her near-identical line at the start of 'The Big Bang'.
  • This is only the third story in the whole of Doctor Who history to be set entirely inside the Doctor's TARDIS, the other two being the First Doctor story 'The Edge Of Destruction' and another Eleventh Doctor story 'Amy's Choice' (though a lot of this episode depicted the characters in Leadworth, obviously outside the TARDIS, though this was a dream sequence).
  • This two-parter is the third story in Doctor Who history to feature only the main, regular cast, the other two being 'The Edge Of Destruction' and the 2005 Children In Need mini episode (often known as 'Born Again').
  • Once again this is the third of something, this time it's the third multi-part charity special story of Doctor Who, the other two being 'Dimensions In Time' and (also written by Steven Moffat) 'The Curse of the Fatal Death'.
  • Steven Moffat in the 'Time' episode has, once more, referenced his popular phrase "Wibbley-wobbley timey-wimey" originally from 'Blink', when The Doctor speaks of the "Wibbley lever" on the TARDIS console.
